Vizmu salidojumi

Koris dibināts 1972. gadā Bēnē, Dobeles rajonā. To veidojusi diriģente Marija Brazovska. Vadījuši – Kārlis Beinerts, Olafs Tomenass, Rolands Kleinbergs.
Kopš 1979. gada kolektīvu vada Vizma Zandersone.

Liels nopelns repertuāra apguvē ir kormeistarei Ingai Siliņai. Koncertmeistare ir Ilze Lazdiņa. 1990. gadā koris ieguva nosaukumu „Vizma” un kļuva par Dobeles kultūras nama kolektīvu. Tajā gadā 3. līgas koru skatē Rīgā koris izcīnīja 2. vietu. Kora repertuārā ir dažādu žanru un laikmetu mūzika. Repertuāra lielāko daļu sastāda latviešu komponistu darbi. Notiek sadarbība ar vairākiem komponistiem, kuri ir veltījuši dziesmas tieši korim „Vizma”.

Selga Mence ir dāvājusi kompozīciju „Vizma”. Gadskārtējam „Vizmu” salidojumam 2002. gadā Selga Mence ir komponējusi himnu ar Vizmas Belševicas dzeju „Vizma, vārda māsa mana”. Komponiste korim veltījusi arī vēl citas dziesmas. Ar komponista Romualda Jermaka dāvātajām dziesmām koris viesojies Lāčupītes Mūzikas festivālos, piedalījies koru skatēs un koncertos. Kori savos autorkoncertos ir aicinājuši piedalīties komponisti Georgs Dovgjallo un novadniece Astrīda Klāsone. Cieša sadarbība korim ir ar komponistēm Indru Riši, Ilzi Arni, Dzintru Kurmi - Gedroicu. Repertuārā ir arī sieviešu koru klasika – Johannesa Brāmsa, Franča Šūberta, Antoni Veki, Emīla Dārziņa, Alfrēda Kalniņa, Jēkaba Graubiņa, Jāņa Norviļa darbi. Koris izpilda arī lielas formas skaņdarbus – Eduarda Grīga kantāti „Pie klostera vārtiem”, V. A. Mocarta noktirnes, K. Jenkinsa "Amadeus", čigāniešu kori no Džuzepes Verdi operas „Traviata” un Ilzes Arnes kantāti „Saules meitas”. Kā neatņemama sastāvdaļa kora repertuārā – latviešu tautas dziesmas dažādu komponistu aranžējumos.

Koris daudz koncertē. Piedalījies ikgadējos Lāčupītes Mūzikas festivālos, Jāzepa Vītola mūzikas dienās Gaujienā, Sakrālās mūzikas festivālā Aglonā 1988. gadā, Starptautiskajā koru festivālā Ventspilī 1990. gadā. Un 1994. gadā Starptautiskajā koru festivālā Ventspilī izcīnīta 2. vieta tautas mūzikas konkursā. Iegūti vēl divi 2. pakāpes diplomi koru konkursos ārpus Latvijas robežas: 1996. gadā 1. starptautiskajā Mendelsona koru festivālā Daupftālē, Vācijā un Sovel festivālā Tamperē, Somijā, 1999. gadā. 2007. gadā piedalījāmies Garīgās mūzikas festivālā "Sudraba zvani" Daugavpilī.

Korim ir draugi gan Latvijā - vīru koris „Imanta” (Valmiera), „Dziedonis” (Rīga), „Frachori”, „Justus”, „Gaudeamus”, „Tēvzeme” (Rīga), „Staburags” (Aizkraukle), „Ozols” (Jelgava), „Senie draugi” (Krimulda), Ķekavas vīru koris, vīru koris „Brocēni”, „Gaiziņš” (Bērzaune), - gan ārpus Latvijas. 1997. gadā koris koncertēja latviešiem Rolfantā, Anglijā. 2001. gadā koris ciemojās pie sieviešu kora „Vox Femina” Engelholmā, Zviedrijā. 2003. gadā – piedalījās nacionālajos svētkos Slovākijā, bet 2004. gadā Vizmas koncertēja Šmelnē, Vācijā. 2005. gadā - nacionālajos svētkos Ungārijā. 2006. gada novembrī koris koncertēja Latvijas Valsts svētkos Kanādā (Toronto un Hamiltonas pilsētās). 2008. gadā koris koncertēja Īrijas pilsētās Lokrejā un Galvejā. 2010. gadā - koncerti Sv. Nikolaja baznīcā Prāgā (Čehija); 2011. g. kocertējām Vodicē (Horvātija). 2011. g. - Ziemassvētku koncerti uz prāmja TALLINK (Rīga-Stokholma).

Nozīmīga vieta kora vēsturē ir arī ikgadējiem Vizmu salidojumiem, kuru aizsācējs ir koris. Pirmais salidojums notika 1994. gadā, Dobelē (šogad - jau XVI!). Šajos salidojumos tiek pulcētas personas, iestādes, izstrādājumi u.t.t., kuriem ir saistība ar vārdu Vizma. Tas ir jaunu atklāsmju, pozitīvu enerģiju un radošs cilvēku kontaktēšanās veids.




The choir was founded in 1972 by conductor Marija Brazovska in Bēne(district Dobele). Following condustors have worked with the choir: Kārlis Beinerts, Olafs Tomenass, Rolands Kleinbergs. Since 1979 the choir is being led by Vizma Zandersone, who has won a real respect among the singers thanks her marvellous patience, persistance, sensitivity, originality and love. In 1990 the choir was named VIZMA and became a choir of Dobele Culture House. In the same year the choir won the second place in the third league choir’s competition in Riga. There is music of different genres and ages in the repertoire of the choir. The greatest part of the repertoire consists of music made by Latvian composers. There is a good cooperation with several composers, who have devoted their songs exactly to the choir VIZMA. Selga Mence has presented the choir with her composition ”VIZMA”. In 2002, especially for the traditional every year meetings of Vizmas, Selga Mence has composed the hymn ”VIZMA, Sister Of My Name” based on the poem of Vizma Belševica. She has also presented the choir with some other songs of hers. With the songs composed by Romualds Jermaks the choir has taken part at the music festivāls in Lacupite, some other competitions and concerts. This year the choir was invited to give a concert in the St. Peter’s church in Riga devoted to the 75-th birthday of this composer. The choir was being asked to take part at their benefits from such composers like Georg Dovgjallo and Astrida Klasone, who comes from Dobele as well. A close cooperation the choir has with composers Indra Riše, Ilze Arne and Dzintra Kurme - Gedrovica. A big merit for to aquire the repertoire has the choir master Inga Siliņa. The choir also performes large form compositions – cantata by Edvard Grieg ‘’At The Convent Gate”, the ladies’ choir from opera ”Carmen” by George Bizet, Gipsies’ choir from the opera ”Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi, cantata by Ilze Arne ”Daughters of the Sun”, V.A.Mozart” Nocturnes” . An integral part of the repertoire are Latvian folk songs by arrangement of different composers. Choir often gives concerts. It has taken part in annual ”Lāčupīte” festival, music days of Jānis Vītols in Gaujiena, sacred music festival in Aglona in 1988, international choir festival in Ventspils in 1990. In this festival choir has got the second place in folk music competition out of Latvia: the first international Chorus festival of Mendelsons, that took place in Dauphethal, Germany in 1996. and in festival ”Sovel” in Tampere, Finland in 1999. We won't forget November of 2006 when choir took part in celebration of Latvia's birthday in Toronto and Hamiltona, Canada. January 2007 - choir participated in choir's competition of sacred music” Silver bells” in Daugavpils. June 2007 - gathering of women's and men's choirs in Tukums. July 2007 - The first International choir festival "Music inspiration landscape" in Sece. But in 27th of October 2007 - choir celebrated 35th jubilee. March 2008 we visited Ireland and gave some concerts in Lockrey and Galway. July 4 - 12, 2008 choir participated in Latvian song and dance festival in Riga. In 2001. choir visited women’s choir ”Vox Femina” in Engelholma, Sweden. In 2003. choir took part in national festivity in Slovakia, but in 2005. participated in national festival in Hungary. In 2004. choir gave concerts in Smelne, Germany. Important place in life of choir ”Vizma” has annual meeting party of Vizmas. Our choir is the beginner of that event in 1994, in Dobele. There are gathered people, institutions, products etc., that have connection with word ”Vizma”. It is event of having new inspiration, getting positive energy and way of communication for creative people. The great event for choir and Vizmas were meeting in the other part of the world- in Canada, Toronto, in November, 2006.It was organized by Vizma Maksina who lives there.There were 9 Vizmas who participated in that meeting. But the annual get- together party this year for Vizmas is going to be in Jekabpils region.
